 Carboline Bitumastic® 300M - (Coal tar epoxy polyamide)

GENERAL PROPERTIES: A heavy duty, high build coal tar epoxy for the protection of steel and concrete in immersion or below grade service. Can be applied up to 35 mils (875 microns) dry film thickness in one or two coats.

  • Excellent protection for underground surfaces
  • Compatible with controlled cathodic protection

RECOMMENDED USES: As a lining for tanks, piping, trenches and sumps. Also suitable as a maintenance coating for steel and concrete subjected to chemical splash, spill and fumes. Typically used in sewage treatment plants, paper mills, chemical plants, and marine applications.

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR: Immersion in aromatic or ketone solvents or strong oxidizing acids. Do Not use as a lining for potable water tanks or pipes.
